When it comes to café dining services, we don’t believe any organization should have to settle for a one-size-fits-all solution. So our goal is to create a program that’s completely unique and exactly right for your site and your employees.
As a first step, our team of food service professionals will consult with you to determine your needs and plan a destination dining experience. Then, once you’ve selected specific “experiences” from our Signature Café Concepts®, a Certified Executive Chef and Account Manager will modify those menus to reflect the tastes, regional preferences and dietary needs of your employees and their guests. With the help of focus groups, market research and close inventory tracking, we’ll adapt our menus to meet changing needs and preferences. HEALTHY CHOICES
The healthiest possible food… plus educational materials that help customers make the healthiest possible choices. That’s the philosophy behind Balanced Choices®--our comprehensive health, nutrition and wellness program.
We start with great tasting, health-enhancing menu items customized to the tastes and dietary needs of our customers. As much as possible, we use local organic produce and prepare all foods from scratch, avoiding preservatives and fats. We use the most healthful cooking methods. We even provide educational materials on-site—everything from newsletters, menu icon guides and information on wellness resources—to help customers make informed nutritional choices.
To help your employees make informed nutritional choices, all menu items are clearly marked with the following icons:
Fit menu items are moderate in calories, fat, cholesterol, and sodium
Vegetarian menu items contain no meat, fish, poultry, shellfish, or related products and are appropriate for those on lacto-vegetarian diets.
Carb-Control menu items contain 12 grams or less of carbohydrates per serving.
Balanced Choices menu options are available in vending machines displaying this symbol.
EXECUTIVE CHEFS
Every corporate dining client is matched with one of our Executive Chefs, who also functions as the Account Manager. Recruited from the nation’s finest cooking schools, country clubs and hotels, these professionals are among the best in the business, known for their creativity and attention to detail. Through ongoing consultations, your Chef/Account Manager will help you make planning decisions. He’ll also enhance your menus with new recipes and local favorites made from seasonal ingredients. His talent and creativity—combined with the skills of the entire Continental culinary team—guarantee that your dining program will always feature fresh ideas and customized menu items.
CATERING
From black-tie events to pizza parties, corporate catering is one of our specialties. We can transform almost any site into a welcoming venue. Our Chefs and Account Managers are available on a day-to-day basis to plan for your catering needs, create special menus, or help you select items from your corporate café or Continental’s on-line menus. For major events, our Corporate Chef and his team of catering specialists are on–call, ready to provide comprehensive, expert planning and support. In addition to on-site catering, we offer complete banquet and event planning services for sales meetings, conferences, employee appreciation parties, product launches, strolling dinners, and a wide array of other corporate events at off-site locations.
